Burkett's on the Bluff
I found this scenic spot during my most recent wedding in Anacortes, WA and I think it will become one of my new favorite spots. One of my favorite things about scouting is exploring the amazing beautify of the Pacific North West. I wouldn't classify myself as an outdoorsy kind of gal but I think I am slowly becoming more and more of one after each session.
I connected with this Momma on a FB hiking group page and I am so glad I did. She was so sweet and her kiddos were just the same. The little one (4 years old) was slow to start with pictures as it was a bit chilly out. After we played follow the leader, a robot statue pose competition, they snuggled and gave their mom lots of Eskimo kisses and climbed around to explore the bluff, he was warmed up and having a great time. It was so much fun.

After we said our goodbyes, I had packed up and was warming up my car when I see him walking towards me. He came up to my window with a drawing he had made and wanted me to have it!!!! Guys!!! This was the sweetest act of appreciation/friendship ever!! This is why I do what I do!! He started the session upset and not wanting to take pictures and by the end we were buddies!! Warmed my soul to the core!! Thanks so much buddy, you made a huge impression on my heart!
